In our ever growing community of Multihull lovers from all over the globe that are dreaming of one day buying a catamaran, converting from a monohull to a catamaran or converting from a sailing catamaran to a power cat, or you may already own a catamaran, buying a catamaran or trimaran, selling a catamaran, or maybe chartering a catamaran or you just love multihulls.
With the FaceBook Group as of today cumulating in 128,000 Members and engagement figures that are making my hair curl. The Stats are mind blowing. Also the launch of the new Portal catamaransforsale.net running along side the Group is rapidly taking off the launchpad.
Dont get me wrong the Group is awesome, but the Portal is even awesomer!!! (I know, I just invented a new word, Ha!)
The reason it's so good is that when you place an ad on the Group it probably only visible for a short time before it gets lost in the traffic and from a Buyers perspective thats a pain in the arse trying to find it again amongst the hundreds of other ads from both Private sellers and Brokers.
Also there is always some expert posting unwanted negative remarks about you or your catamaran rather than sending you a direct message. I deleted one such remark only this week ie:
“Why would anyone pay $ 4***! F****ing for a Sh** boat like that, They sail like a sack of cement, Your an idiot if you think you can sell it for that price” (That was his opinion)
Freedom of speech great, but not helpful to Buyers or Sellers! I have to sleep sometimes, so can’t keep an eye on comments 24/7, so they do sneak in though Ha! I spend half my waking moments deleting peoples ads selling Cars, Fridges, Sofas, Washing machines, houses from the Group.
On the new Portal you can search for your desired major Brands of catamarans or trimarans within your price range (even within the price band of some negotiation. You never know until you try)!
Everybody seems to be Searching for the three major production catamarans, Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, Leopard but there maybe a brand you have not even considered out there but these brands will appear in your search criteria in the price range you choose. Also if you have a one of cat that you are selling your ad will also appear within the buyers price range.
Also you can search for Brokers listings with direct links to their website and contact details or you can contact the Private Sellers directly via their phone numbers or e.mail address.

To see all the Christmas Cards sent out with a team of Reindeer towing a Catamaran with Santa at the helm was great and quite novel to begin with, but A.i. driving many of us nuts, as you never know what to believe these days. We use A.i. to correct my spelling and enhance our site, but thats about it. (Maybe I could get Richard Branson or Brad Pit to endorse us, but until we do, This is all me! :)
