I had the opportunity of a trip to Annapolis Boat Show in Maryland USA last month to the official launch of the fabulous Isara 50, which was indeed the star of the show.
I previously said that if you are looking for a 50 or even 60 foot catamaran do not put your money down without taking a look at this yacht. After seeing the finished article I say that even louder! With its totally unique design feature with the mast stepped on top of a carbon arch, it gives incredible space in the saloon compared to any other production catamaran. This boat stinks of quality.
Also Isara Yachts have just announced production of the new Isara 45 and Isara 60 which both promise to be spectacular, judging by the 50, catering for the alternative size range.
Isara are also producing a non flybridge, performance version of the 50 with carbon coach roof and a choice of fixed keels or dagger boards, along with some very innovative Ideas to be unveiled soon.
Isara Yachts are definitely going places and as official European Agents, we are pleased to be associated with them.

Another winning Combination is when Kristof De Spiegler of Green Boats got together with Nautitech to produce the new Green Cat 54.
Kristof is extremely passionate about the green concept and more and more people are now coming around to this way of thinking.

Flash Catamarans are certainly producing a winning formula with power catamarans produced in mainland Spain.
With sexy lines in comparison to many of the trawler style motor catamarans being built, Flash catamarans have added some style to the concept.
The recently launched 44 following on from their successful 435 has really evolved into a real useful practical and economical motor yacht that looks good, and performs as good as it looks with drastically reduced running costs compared again, to a conventional motor yacht.

Not only that, but now Darren Newton of Dazcat fame and his company, Multimarine Composites, has joined forces with Broadblue Yachts, to produce the Rapier range things will start to move a little faster no doubt, in the way of knots that is. It is going to be something like Mercedes teaming up with McLaren!!!
The new Rapier looks gorgeous and if you want to go fast then Daren is the guy to grant your wishes! I believe that after a good compromise of great looks, weight reduction and quality fit out that this will prove to be a winning combination.

Sunreef need no introduction!
Latest from Sunreef is the near completion of their 60ft power catamaran. After the success of the 70ft version, this has certainly turned a few heads of conventional motor yacht owners. This is due to the tremendous advantages of its catamaran hulls over the monohull such as stability, fuel economy and much more usable space. On top of that believe it or not it is cheaper to berth than the equivalent volume of a much larger monohull in many locations.
