Another year has just flown by, gone it seems, in a blink of an eye.
We have had a good year on the whole and nice to see a few happy customers enjoying their new toys!
Not just selling catamarans, even though that is our passion we have sold boats of all shapes, sizes and brands this year, big and small.
Gary and Chrissy with their Rinker “Job Done” seem to be the most used boat in the marina, they seem to be having lots of fun.
Barbara and Tony are pleased with their Crownline Chilli Pepper and I hear through the grapevine that Tony has been on some courses to brush up his boat handling and navigation.
Jonathan still working hard and spending lots of money on his purchase of the Privilege "Fickle Nomad” Jonathan has come up with a few unexpected problems but it is going to be awesome when he has finished the work.
Then there is Andrew and Jo, the Canadians with Andrews Son, Jake on their shiny Lagoon 470. They have virtually rebuilt the boat and fitted loads of equipment such as new generator etc. They have left on the ARC heading for the Caribbean, where I was very tempted to join them as they are a lovely bunch of guys. You can follow their blog on our site and keep up with their adventures.
I went to the launch party and we had a few celebrity guests such as Jean-Jacques Coste of Blue Coast Yachts and Frances Abrams the Saxophonist, well known locally. It was a great night.
These older cats are becoming very sought after and it is great to see where the new owners are prepared to throw some money at them to bring them back to top condition. Money well spent.
Having such nice people to do business with makes our job worth while.
We have some exciting new developments in the new year, so keep in touch and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for the very latest. Anyway, we at WORLDWIDE CATAMARANS wish everyone a great Christmas and Happy New Year.
